You have designed crypto or complex fintech products before and can defend a simpler flow in a room with a founder. You still draw the hard screens. You also review mid-designer work before it hits engineering. You report to Head of Design when that seat is filled, otherwise to the CTO. BrickFi’s investor dashboard and client wallet UX patterns are the current load. You will be in client workshops. You will not be asked to run the whole design org — that is Design Lead / Head of Design.

How hiring works

Roles are posted by Lootrushs as full-time, part-time, or advisory — pick one on the form. We source, screen, and interview — or a client introduces a candidate to us. After you pass our process, you may interview with the client company. If both sides agree, you join through Lootrushs and work on that client’s product.

What you will do

  • Lead design on BrickFi and other flagship surfaces: investor, admin, and reporting.
  • Define reusable wallet UX patterns (connect, switch chain, paymaster, receipt) across clients.
  • Mentor mid designers: critiques, hiring input, and pairing on files.
  • Present work to clients and to studio leadership without a deck of filler slides.
  • Cut scope when a brief asks for a marketplace, a token, and a mobile app in one sprint.
  • Hold the line on empty, error, and admin states — a flow is not done at the happy path.
  • Partner with frontend on implementation QA for the flows you designed.
  • Contribute to lootrushs.com and launch pages when they need product-quality craft.

What you bring

  • 5+ years product design, including senior ownership of a live product.
  • Shipped Web3 or adjacent high-trust products (payments, brokerage, identity, trading).
  • Evidence you have mentored another designer or been the sole designer on an engineering team.
  • You can run a workshop and leave with decisions, not a mural of sticky notes.

Nice to have

  • Design leadership without people-management title
  • RWA or real-estate products
  • Writing design RFCs
  • Facilitation training
